Lot 220. John McEnroe Autographed Artwork. The former No. 1 tennis pro signed a 10” x 12” print created by Mary Garner Kehl in conjunction with the 1984 United Virginia Bank Tennis Classic. His signature is a 10. The print is matted and framed to about 14 ½” x 16”. McEnroe won seven Grand Slam singles titles - Wimbledon three times and the U.S. Open, four. He is a member of the International Tennis Hall of Fame. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 221. Original 1929 Sepia Wire Photo of Bill Tilden and H. V. S. Dillon at Wimbledon. Tilden captured the Wimbledon championship 1920, 1921 and again in 1930. The vg-ex photo from Culver Pictures has a tiny chip in the lower right corner, a small tear at the lower right and a crease just inside the image area at the bottom. The contrast and focus are sharp. The caption is on the back of the photo. Tilden is generally regarded as one of the top 10 tennis players of all time. He dominated the game from 1920-34 and is a member of the International Tennis Hall of Fame.
