Lot 209.  Ben Hogan Autographed Check. A member of the World Gold Hall of Fame, Hogan is regarded as one of the 10 best golfer of all time. His 64 PGA victories place him fourth on the all-time list. He won nine major tournaments – the Masters twice, the U.S. Open four times, the British Open once and the PGA Chamionship twice. Hogan’s signature is a 10 on a 1991 check. Authenticated by Kevin Keating. Hogan passed away in 1997.

Lot 210.  Ken Venturi Signed June 13, 1966 “Sports Illustrated.” After winning the 1964 U.S. Open, Venturi was named the magazine’s “Sportsman of the Year.” On the cover of this issue, he is shown as the author of an article on the 1966 Open. Venturi was a golf commentator for CBS for 30 years. Vg-ex issue with a sharpie 10 signature authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 211.  Vintage, Rare Signature of Golfers Jimmy Thomson and Alf Padgham. Thomson was the John Daly of the 1930s. Everywhere he played, fans flocked to see his booming tee shots. During the 1929 U.S. Open at Muirfield, he drove the 375-yard 11th hole. Rare bold pencil signature, a mint 9 to gem mint 10, on the back of a WWII Victory Golf Tournament ticket. Thomson died in 1985. He is a potential Hall of Fame member. A leading British golfer in the 1930s-40s, Padgham won the British Open in 1936. His autograph, signed “A. H. Padgham,” is a 9-10 on an autograph card dated Feb. 6, 1956. He died in 1966. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.
