Lot 177. 1945 Autograph of Stan Fay – 1930s Michigan Football Star. A quarterback and halfback from 1931-33, Fay led the Wolverines’ 1932 undefeated national championship team in scoring and served as captain of the 1933 undefeated national championship team. His signature is at the end of a handwritten 1945 note on B.G.F. Company, a short-lived business that he formed with other former Ford executives. His steel-tipped pen signature is mint 9, and he added “Michigan ’31, ’32, ’33.” Fay passed away in 1987. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.
