Lot 127. Baseballs Autographed by Two National League MVPs: Dolph Camilli and Hank Sauer. Camilli received the award while playing for the Dodgers received the award in 1941, and Sauer, for the Cubs, in 1992. Both baseballs have a thin coat of Krylon applied. Sauer’s autograph is a 10 on the sweet spot of a MacGregor Official 97C League ball that has strong pre-printed areas and shows no signs of flaking. Camilli’s personalized signature is strong on the sweet spot of a Wilson Official Gulf Coast League ball. Flaking affects the “C” on “Camilli; the letter is fully present but light.
