Lot 153. Lou Boudreau (HoF) Autographed Copy of His Autobiography. The Hall of Fame shortstop, who also was a highly successful manager and broadcaster, signed the second blank page of “Lou Boudreau: Covering All the Bases.” Boudreau wrote the 1993 book with Russell Schneider. His signature is mint 9, and the book, an apparent first edition, nm with on slightly stubbed corner in an ex-m+ dust jacket. In 1948, Boudreau was the A.L. MVP as he batted .355 and, at the same time, managed the Cleveland Indians to a World Championship. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.
