Jim Gantner and Jim Olander Pro Model and Gorman Thomas Store Model Bats.
Lot 274. Jim Gantner and Jim Olander Pro Model and Gorman Thomas Store Model Bats. All three bats appear to be from the players’ days with the Milwaukee Brewers. Gantner was the Brewers’ starting second basemen for most of his 17 years in Milwaukee. His T141 model 35” bat, apparently from 1985, has a cracked handle. His uniform number, 17, is on the knob and the hollowed-out end of the bat, which has strong stampings and shows good game use. An outfielder, Olander played a total of 12 games in the majors, all for the Brewers in 1991. His M110 model 34” bat has his name in block letters and may be from the mid to late-1980s. Tape on the handle seems to cover a crack. The 35” model O16 from 1980-83 is a “Flame Tempered” store model version. Ex. Two game-used and one store model bat.
Minimum Bid $20.
