Lot 211. Paul Tibbets Autograph on a Model of the B-29 “Enola Gay” Superfortress. Tibbets was at the controls of the plane when it dropped the atomic bomb on Hiroshima on Aug. 6, 1945. His autograph on the plane’s left wing grades ex-m 6 to nm 7. The plane measures 16” from nose to tail and has a 22” wing span. Tibbets died in 2007. Authenticated by Kevin Keating. Winning Bid $83.
