Lot 228. Robert Taylor Print Autographed by RAF Air Vice-Marshall Johnnie Johnson. During World War II, Johnson was the highest-scoring Western Allied pilot against German Luftwaffe planes. He brought down 34 enemy aircraft and had some shared victories as well. Both Johnson and Taylor autographed the print in pencil; the signatures are 10s. The print is about 20” x 24” and has a couple of inoffensive creases. Autograph authenticated by Kevin Keating.
