Lot 133. Chicago Bears Jersey Signed by Anthony Thomas, 2001 NFL Rookie of the Year. Thomas set a career rushing record (broken in 2007) at Michigan before being drafted in 2001 by the Bears. Nicknamed “A-Train,” he rushed for 1,138 in his rookie season and was named NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year by Associated Press. He left the Bears for the 2005 season, and since then, has played for Dallas, New Orleans and Buffalo. Thomas’ signature in silver sharpie is large and bold on the back of a Bears replica jersey with his name and number. He signed on the “5” of his uniform number, 35, and added “ROY01” and “A.
