Lot 7. Circa 1910s New York and Chicago Folding Postcards Featuring Ball Parks. One of 12 panels inside the New York folder reproduces the front of the “National League Baseball Park, New York” postcard showing game action, fans (one with a cane) in the grandstand and John McGraw in the upper right corner. Other images capture the Brooklyn Bridge, Central Park and the Statue of Liberty. Vg+ envelope with a ¼” tear, ex contents. The Chicago folder has tennis artwork on one side of the envelope, which is vg+. The West Side Grounds, home of the Cubs, and Comiskey Park, with Hall of Famer Charles Comiskey in the foreground, are shown inside. Another of the 11 panels has a golf scene. Vg-ex.
