Lot 2. 1909 Boston Herald Supplement of Hall of Fame Outfielder Harry Hooper. P-f July 18 supplement with a strong image of Hooper. The supplement measures just short of 7” x 9 ½”, apparently as printed by the newspaper. It has a small hole and a scuff in the lower left and a ¼” edge tear. These premiums turn up infrequently, and this one displays well. Proceeds from the sale of this lot will benefit the Society for American Baseball Research, a non-profit membership organization open to all that fosters the research, preservation, and dissemination of the history and record of baseball.
