These cards constitute one-fifth of the set: Carter (runner) ex, Cummings (runner) f-g, East (oarsman; writing on the back, otherwise) vg, Fitzgerald (pedestrian) vg, McCormack (skater) g-vg, Ray (pole vaulter) vg, Rowe (cyclist) g-vg, Sears (lawn tennis) ex+, Stone (cyclist) f-g and Webb (swimmer) f-g.

Lot 255. 8 Olympics Publications 1948-72 – 1960 Program, Official Reports, Etc. Comprehensive information on each Olympiad is presented in The British Olympic Association Official Report of the Olympic Games. Six reports are offered, all in softcover format, for 1948, 1952, 1956, 1960, 1964 and 1968. Each report contains more than 100 pages providing full accounts and results of the summer and winter games. Each sport receives its own section. These publications are illustrated with b&w photos, and four have full-page color artwork or photos of such athletes as Bob Mathias, Rafer Johnson, Wilma Rudolph and Carol Heiss. Thse issues average ex with the title and date written on the spine of four. The 122-page official program for the 1960 Winter Games in California is vg-ex. Also, The Olympics, a 96-page preview of the 1972 Games from Toyota and Benjamin Company-Rutledge Books, ex-m. These British publications are excellent references and relatively scarce.
