Scarce Circa 1912-14 L5 Anargyros-Lorillard “Hamilton King Girls” Rowing Girl Leather.
Lot 266. Scarce Circa 1912-14 L5 Anargyros-Lorillard “Hamilton King Girls” Rowing Girl Leather. These die-cut premiums, about 8 ½” x 11 ¾”, feature a central embossed image produced from King’s artwork, which is used also for the T7-6 paper premiums. King’s signature and the title are embossed within decorative frames. This example has tack holes surrounded by scuffs at the bottom and in the two upper corners, a large scuff at the right, a small scuff at the top and a couple of light cracks. The leather is somewhat dry; the premium can be handled with care. The image of the Rowing Girl shows light wear while displaying very well. Scarce and desirable example for a type collection.
Winning Bid $121.
