Lot 260. 2 Early 1890s N143 American Tobacco “Buffalo Bill Wild West Show” Die-Cuts. Two quality examples from this obscure set, including “Indian Gathering” and another that shows Buffalo Bill arriving apparently to save the Deadwood stage coach. The former appears to be pristine except for a ¼” crease. In the latter, the reins of one horse are separated, and striations, almost certainly from the printing process, are evident when the card is held at a certain angle toward light. Each die-cut is about 4 ½” x 6”.
