The guides for 1943 (small piece of tape on the spine), 1945 and 1956 are vg-ex. The issues for 1944 and 1947 are vg. Those for 1946 and 1948-55 have heavily taped covers. The issues from 1957-75 average ex with many better, and the 1976-91 editions are generally nm or better. The Record Books are for 1936 (no cover), 1937-40 averaging g and 1975, 1976, 1978, 1979, 1981-85, 1986 and 1988 averaging nm+. Great baseball reading and reference here!
