Lot 56. 10 1880s–1930s Type Cards – E, M, R and T Examples Including 3 HoFers! Most of these issues are extremely scarce. 1. 1888 Tuck & Sons Artistic Series of Baseball Die-Cuts, New York. Incredible colors and eye-popping presence, strong front, a small amount of paper loss and scrapbook residue on the blank back, otherwise vg-ex. 2. 1910-11 M116 Sporting Life Tinker (blue back), ½” x ¼” chip not affecting Tinker’s image, which is very strong, significant paper loss on the back, p. Even in vg, this card books at $480. 3. 1910 E91, Set C American Caramel Miller, f-g. 4. 1914 T330-2 Piedmont Art Stamps Barry, great-looking example, staple holes near the top, otherwise g+ to vg. 5. 1914-16 T213 Coupon Cigarettes Type 2 Hughie Jennings (one hand showing), bold colors, fantastic image, moderate paper loss on the back, f with a front that has generally a vg appearance. 6. 1919-21 W514 #120 Barnes, some paper loss on the blank back, vg+ front. 7. 1923 W572 Jack Smith, paper residue on the blank back, g-vg front. 8. 1928 W502 #11 Uhle, vg-ex front with sharp corners, “One Bagger” back with minor scrapbook residue. 9. 1933 E285 Rittenhouse Candy Hartnett, paper loss and scrapbook residue on the back, g+ front. 10. 1937 Goudey Knot Hole League card, f-g.
