Lot 161. Jay Publishing Photos Signed by Koufax, Hodges, Stengel, Gibson, Etc. The 5” x 6 ½” b&w lithographed photos are signed by Walt Alston (gem mint 10, LA Dodgers), Ken Boyer (mint 9, Cards), Rocky Colavito (10, Indians), Nelson Fox (nm 7 to nm-m 8, Astros), Gil Hodges (7-8, 9 with “es” somewhat light, Senators, personalized), Sandy Koufax (9, LA Dodgers), Ed Mathews (8, Milwaukee), Billy Williams (10) and Casey Stengel (9, Mets, pers.). The Alston photo is slightly trimmed, five photos are stapled to stiff paper, and the five others have staple holes in the corners. In general, the photos display as vg or g-vg, with Koufax having a vg-ex appearance. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.
