 Lot 266. Rookie-Season Mario Lemieux Signature on a Pittsburgh Penguins Pennant. Over time, Lemieux has developed a stylized, abstract signature. This full-sized 12” x 30” pennant presents his signature the way he signed at the outset of his Hall of Fame career. Near his name, he added his uniform number, “66.” The ex-m pennant came directly from the Penguins during the 1984-85 season in support of a local charity fundraiser. Lemieux’s signature and the others are nm 7s. Among the other signers are John Chabot, Dave Hannan, Wally Weir, Rod Buskas, Troy Loney, Mike Bullard, Joe McDonnell, Warren Young, Gary Rissling, Brian Ford, Wayne Babich and Mitch Lamoureux. Uncommon, vintage form of Lemieux’s autograph authenticated by Kevin Keating.
