Lot 6. Background Color Variation 1909-11 T206 Cards of Josh Clark Graded by SGC. One card of Clark has an orange background, while the other has a red background. In addition, on the card with the red background, there is additional red on Clark’s lips, cheek and left hand. SGC graded the orange-background card 40 VG 3. It has ex corners, a tiny corner crease and is centered toward the bottom so that a very small portion of Clark’s name and team is cut off. The front and back of the card are very clean. The red-background card is graded A for authentic, apparently because it falls outside SGC’s size requirements. The card clearly is oversized top to bottom, and apparently slightly undersized left to right. The corners are ex, the centering approaches perfections on the front, the colors are bold, and creases seem to be missing. Interesting pair of great-looking cards.
