Late 1960s Beatles Bobbing Head Set of 7-8” Figures.
Lot 392. Late 1960s Beatles Bobbing Head Set of 7-8” Figures. Three of the four bobbles retain a “Car Mascots, Inc.” decal on the under side of the base. The height of the figures varies, with Ringo Starr, who is seated, measuring slightly taller than 7”, and Paul McCartney, the tallest at about 8”. McCartney is nm with two small chips on his back. Starr has been neatly repainted using a paint that has lower gloss than the original. Otherwise, it is vg-ex with three hairline cracks at the back of the heat, a couple of very small chips at its base and a scuff on the left cheek. George Harrison is vg-ex with a crack on the right side of the head, a couple of small chips and a chip on the name decal on the base. The neck of John Lennon’s guitar has been repaired; otherwise, the bobbing head is nm-m. The flaws in these figures tend to be at the back, and they display extremely well.
Winning Bid $520.
