Lot 360. 82 1920s-50s Exhibits – “Las Vegas Show Girl” Set, Other Scantily Clad Women. The Las Vegas set comprises 32 cards colorized in orange and brown. Ex-m+ to nm+. Four of five mono-color risqué cards from the 1920s feature an “I.M.R. Co. NY” credit and carry such titles as “Dancing Beauty,” “Reflection” and “Dance of the Castanets.” Four are ex, and one is g. Four cards are from “Earl Carroll’s Vanities,” and one actress is identified as Beryl Wallace. Vg-ex to ex. Three other cards are mono-color, and two are printed in orange and green; 1 g, 1 vg-ex, 1 ex, 2 ex-m+. The rest are colorized, primarily in black and orange. At least seven appear to be from a set that silhouettes models against a black background. Two are vg, 2 vg-ex and the rest are nm to nm-m. A keen eye may spot some future movie stars here!
