Lot 355. 6 19th Century Arbuckle Coffee Cards Featuring Superb Color Lithography. Three cards are from the 1889 K6 “Illustrated Atlas of the U.S.” set, and three are from the 1892 K5 “History of the United States and Territories” set. At 3” x 5”, these cards are close to postcard-size. The detail in the artwork is impressive. The “Atlas” cards are Colorado vg-ex, Michigan vg-ex and Virginia vg. The “History” cards are Colorado vg, Pennsylvania vg, which pictures Ben Franklin, and New York vg-ex. These cards generally look better than the grades indicate, and they frequently are found in much lower condition.
