Lot 353. Circa 1889 A26 “Costumes of All Nations” Album with Langtry and Russell. This magnificent album contains color portrait paintings of actors and actresses wearing stage production costumes representing numerous countries. It reproduces 100 cards from N70 and N71 sets. The paintings used for the cards are outstanding, and the album is even better because it has full-page lithographs of four actresses, including Lillie Langtry, Lillian Russell and Mary Anderson. Knapp & Co. of New York was the lithographer. The front and back covers show soiling and corner and edge chips. The inside pages are clean with tiny corner creases, vg+ to ex and very close to ex.
