Lot 198.  George Allen Autograph Certified by PSA-DNA. The Hall of Fame coach signed a printed reply card for an event sponsored by the Equitable Life Assurance Society. He added “LA Rams” below his name. The signature is a 10. Allen never had a losing season in the NFL, and he led the Redskins to the 1973 Super Bowl. He passed away in 1990. Authenticated also by Kevin Keating.

Lot 199.  Jack Christiansen Autograph Certified by PSA-DNA. On an unlined index card, he signed “Coach Jack Christiansen.” The signature is a large, bold 9-10 with the slightest smudge on the “a” in his last name. Christiansen was the leader of a defensive backfield that helped the Detroit Lions to win three world championships in the 1950s. HoF 1970; died 1986. Authenticated also by Kevin Keating.

Lot 200.  “Dutch” Clark Autograph Certified by PSA-DNA. The signature of the Detroit Lions’ star back and leader is a 9-10 on an unlined index card. HoF 1963; died 1978. Authenticated also by Kevin Keating.

Lot 201.  Jim Conzelman Autograph Certified by PSA-DNA. One of the NFL’s pioneers, Conzelman contributed to the success of pro football as a quarterback, coach and administrator. In the 1920s, he played for five different teams, including the 1920 Decatur Staleys. As a coach, he led the Providence Steam Roller to the NFL title in 1928, and accomplished the same with the Chicago Cardinals in 1947 and 1948. He passed away in 1970. His pencil signature, which is on a large section of paper adhered to an index card, is nm 7 with two tiny areas of paper loss affecting the tail of the “z.” Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 202.  Dan Fortmann Autograph Certified by PSA-DNA. Large 10 signature on an unlined index card. While having a HoF career as a Bears lineman, Fortmann became an M.D. He died in 1995. Authenticated also by Kevin Keating.

Lot 203.  Ed. Healey Autograph Certified by PSA-DNA. Healey’s signature is large and bold, a 10, on an unlined index card. Healey was a Hall of Fame lineman for George Halas, who called him “the most versatile tackle in history.” He died in 1978. Authenticated also by Kevin Keating.

Lot 204.  Mel Hein Autograph Certified by PSA-DNA. The signature is a 10 on an unlined index card. A center for the New York Giants, Hein became a charter member of the HoF in 1963. He died in 1992. Authenticated also by Kevin Keating.

Lot 205.  Clarke Hinkle Autograph Certified by PSA-DNA. The signature is an unimprovable 10 on a lined index card. Hinkle starred at fullback and linebacker for the Packers. HoF 1964; died 1988. Authenticated also by Kevin Keating.

Lot 206.  Cal Hubbard Autograph Certified by PSA-DNA. Above his signature, a 10, he added “Best Wishes.” Hubbard’s performance at end and linebacker for the Giants and Packers earned him a place in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. After football, he became one of the American League’s best umpires, good enough for enshrinement in the Baseball Hall of Fame. He died in 1977. Authenticated also by Kevin Keating.

Lot 207.  Frank “Bruiser” Kinard Autograph Certified by PSA-DNA. The large, impressive signature is an 8-9 on a section of masking tape applied to an unlined index card. In a career that spanned nine seasons, the HoF tackle missed only one game. He passed away in 1965. Authenticated also by Kevin Keating.

Lot 208.  Tuffy Leemans Autograph Certified by PSA-DNA. Gem mint 10 signature on a lined index card with a photo of Leemans taped to the left side. Above his signature, he added “Best Wishes From,” and below it, “New York Giants. Playing fullback and halfback, Leemans helped the Giants to win three divisional titles and a world championship from 1936-43. HoF 1978; died 1979. Authenticated also by Kevin Keating.

Lot 209.  “Link” Lyman Autograph Certified by PSA-DNA. Lyman placed a large sharpie signature on an unlined index card. It has the boldness and sharpness of a 10, but a smudge on the “m” reduces the grade. A tackle, Lyman was one of the best defensive linemen in the NFL’s early years. He played for the Canton Bulldogs, the Chicago Bears and several other teams. Hall of Fame 1964; died 1972. Authenticated also by Kevin Keating.

Lot 210.  Wayne Millner Autograph Certified by PSA-DNA. Above his signature, a 10 on an unlined index card, Millner wrote “Sincere best wishes.” An All-America at Notre Dame, he was superb two-way end. HoF 1968; died 1976. Authenticated also by Kevin Keating.

Lot 211.  Ernie Nevers Autograph, “Greatest Thrill” Certified by PSA-DNA. Wonderful signature on an unlined index card. Above, Nevers wrote that “One of my greatest thrills was in 1929 when we beat the Chicago Bears 40 to 6 and I had the pleasure of scoring the 40 pts.” Nevers’ feat came on Thanksgiving Day, and his 40-point performance remains the longest-standing NFL individual record. HoF 1963; died 1976. The signature and the message rate a 10. Authenticated also by Kevin Keating.
