Lot 158. 2 1930s Color British Cards Depicting American Football. Edwards, Ringer & Bigg issued one card in 1935 as part of a set titled “Sports & Games in Many Lands.” The card, #24, “American Football, U.S.A.,” is ex-m+. The other card, #31, is from Carreras Cigarettes’ 1934 “Believe It or Not” Set. It recognizes Sam York of Centenary College for successfully kicking 172 field goals in succession in the 1920s. Ex-m.
