Lot 28. Joe Greene Autographed Jersey. UPDATED INFORMATION: The Hall of Fame defensive tackle signed the “7” in the “75” on the back of the MITCHELL & NESS 1975 THROWBACK jersey. The signature is an unimprovable 10, and the jersey, which is framed, is mint. THE FRONT OF THE JERSEY HAS A "THROWBACK" LABEL AND A SECOND LABEL THAT SAYS "JOE GREENE, PITTSBURGH STEELERS, 1975." THERE IS A BICENTENNIAL PATCH ON THE LEFT SHOULDER. ALSO PRESENT IS THE ORIGINAL PRICE TAG FOR THE JERSEY ALONE - $380! Greene was one of the best defensive tackles ever. He was the NFL’s defensive rookie of the year in 1969, a Pro Bowl player 10 times and NFL defensive player of the year in 1972 and 1974. The jersey is accompanied by a photo of Greene signing it.
