Lot 172. Autographs of 7 Deceased Hall of Fame Players with Goal Line Art Cards. With one exception, the signatures are mint 9s and gem mint 10s on unlined index cards. One Goal Line art card is matted and framed with an index card signed by Ed. Healey. Two cards are matted with index cards: Earl “Dutch” Clark and Cal Hubbard. Hubbard, of course, is enshrined at both Canton and Cooperstown (as an umpire). Cliff Battles signed an “Immortal Roll” card that is matted with the Goal Line Art card; his signature grades nm 7. Buck Buchanan autographed a Pro Set card that is matted with the Goal Line Art card. The two other autographs are on unlined index cards that come with Goal Line cards: Bobby Layne and Mike Michalske. The Layne signature, in ballpoint, is especially nice.
