Lot 352. 11 1930s Real-Photo Postcards of England, 4 More from the 1950s. All different. Ten of these sepia-photo postcards present 1930s scenes of Manchester, England. The eleventh shows Stamford. Valentine’s produced seven of them, and four are from the Excel Series. Among the scenes are the Cathedral, Whitworth Park, the Royal Infirmary and Albert Square (2 different). Six are ex, one vg+ to ex, one vg+, two vg and one g-vg. Two have 1937 postmarks. The 1950s cards, also real photos, show Buckingham Palace, Loch Lomand and Leigh-on-Sea. The fourth is a London composite. These average vg+. There also are two chromes, one showing Windsor. 17 postcards.
