A delightful card featuring a child with a shaving cream beard promotes the Gillette Safety Razor. The Gillette company was established in 1901. G-vg, displays better. Prudential promotes its insurance products with a dog, a little girl blowing a large bubble, a 1910 calendar – and the “Rock” on the back, vg. Another early 1900s card promotes Happy Thought Tobacco, g. Schlitz Beer is the subject of a 1948 card, g. The Gillette and Prudential cards capture the spirit of 19th century trade cards.
