Lot 751. 1938 Theatrical Square Club Program Featuring Benny, Berle, Etc. The 120-page souvenir program is for the club’s 10th anniversary “Entertainment and Ball” at the Manhattan in New York. The club apparently was associated with the National Masonic organization and engaged in charitable work. The program pictures Jack Benny, Milton Berle, Yacha Bunchuk, Rudy Vallee, Dan Healy, Vincent Lopez and Herman Yablokoff, the Yddish songwriter, playwright and actor. The advertisements are worth the price of admission. They recognize and promote Fred Waring, Kitty Carlisle, Radio City Music Hall, a Billy Rose production and much more. Ex, attractive and unusual.
