Lot 579. 1941 Rosey Rowswell “Radio Scorecard” for Chicago at Pittsburgh. Beloved by Pirates fans, Rowswell broadcast Pirates games from 1936-54. He also wrote several books on baseball and the oft-recorded “Should You Go First Poem.” The scorecard is neatly scored in pencil for an April 25 game played by Billy Herman, Swish Nicholson, Dizzy Dean, Vince DiMaggio and others. Issued in conjunction with Mobil and two local radio stations, it was actually produced so that radio listeners could score the game at home. Vg-ex. MB $15.
