Lot 596. Extraordinary 1961 Chicago White Sox Yearbook. This yearbook looks as if it just came off the printing press. We’ll grade it brand new nm-m. With four future Hall of Fame members – Aparicio, Fox, F. Robinson, the ’61 Sox hit about as well as any team in the league. Minnie Minoso was also on the team, and Sherm Lollar hit a lofty .282. But the pitching staff was merely mediocre, and they helped to ensure a fourth-place A.L. finish. You’ll have a difficult time finding a nicer copy.
