The voice of the Pirates from 1936-55, Rowswell also published several books, including Tales of the Diamond in 1948. The Fort Pitt Brewing Co. issued the 80-page paperback, which is filled with humorous stories. Ex with a chip out of the bottom of one inside page. Also: 1. Baseball Magazine, Aug. 1956, drawings of Bob Friend, Dale Long on the cover, four-page lead story inside. The publication also has an article on Hank Aaron.
