Lot 117. 8” x 10” Photo Signed by Hall of Fame Infielder-Outfielder Freddie Lindstrom. Inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1976, Lindstrom had his best seasons with the New York Giants in the 1920s. Originally a third baseman, he moved to the outfield in 1931 after suffering a back injury. He subsequently played for Pittsburgh, Chicago and Brooklyn. He hit .311 lifetime. He died in 1981. Up close, the photo shows impressions from someone’s having written on a sheet of paper on top of it. The signature in green sharpie is large and bold, a gem mint 10. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.
