Lot 27. 1892 St. Louis Republic Team Composite of the Brooklyn Bridegrooms. Eventually, the National League Bridegrooms became the Dodgers. Members of the 1892 team are pictured individually in rectangular black and white photographs in this 7 ¾” x 10” supplement from the St. Louis newspaper. Second baseman John Ward is in the center. Directly to his left is first baseman Dan Brouthers. Others pictured are Collins, Foutz, Hart, Griffin, Daly, Burns, O’Brien, Inks, Stein, Kinslow, Corcorun, C. Dailey, “Brickyard” Kennedy and Terry. This composite, matted to 11” x 14”, is suitable for framing. There are some minor tears, creases and stains.
