Lot 234.  1886 Wright & Ditson’s Catalog of “Out and In-Door Games and Amusements.” This 72-page catalog offers a broad range of sports equipment and games. One page presents “The New Parlor Game of Base Ball” for $1.35. Products range from air guns to weights. There are items for minstrel shows, ice skating, boxing and bowling. Some foxing on the cover. Vg-ex.

Lot 235.  1887 N28 Allen & Ginter Billiards Players – Joe Dion, J. L. Malone. Both grade vg. These billiards players enjoy ongoing popularity.

Lot 236.  1888 A36 Goodwin Album Page Featuring Four Bicyclists. This 5 ¾” x 7 ¾” album page features the fronts of four cards that were issued in the N162 Goodwin card set. The bicyclists are Thomas Stevens, Rowe, Prince and Wood. Stevens was the first person to ride around the world on a bicycle. This page is a visual treat. The corners are rounded, and there is some staining on the blank back. The colors are strong and vibrant. The page is free of creases. Vg-ex, looks better.

Lot 237.  1888 A36 Goodwin Album Page Featuring 4 Oarsmen. This 5 ¾” x 7 ¾” album page features the fronts of four cards that were issued in the N162 Goodwin card set. The oarsmen are Beach, Gaudaur, Hanlan and Teemer. There is some minor paper loss along the left edge and upper left of the page, an insignificant piece missing along the upper right corner and two small tears in the left border. There is some minor staining on the blank back. The cards are very colorful, and the page is free of creases. Technically g, looks considerably better.

Lot 238.  1888 A36 Goodwin Album Page Featuring 5 Billiards Players. This 5 ¾” x 7 ¾” album page features the fronts of five cards that were issued in the N162 Goodwin card set. The billiards players are Daly, Schaefer, Sexton, Slosson and Vignaux. There is some paper loss along the left edge and middle left portion of the page, along with minor staining on the blank back. The Slosson and Daly cards show minor paper loss. G page with colorful, attractive cards.

Lot 239.  1888 A36 Goodwin Album Page Featuring 4 Jockeys. This 5 ¾” x 7 ¾” album page features the fronts of four cards that were issued in the N162 Goodwin card set. The jockeys are Carrison, McLaughlin, Murphy and Wood. There is some very minor paper loss along the left edge of the page and some minor staining on the blank back. G-vg with strong individual cards. Very colorful for display.

Lot 240.  1888 A36 Goodwin Album Page Featuring 3 Chess Players and 3 Pedestrians. Finally, a sport that most of us might excel in! Pedestrian!! I can hear the play-by-play: “There he goes, dodging the Toyota, sliding by the fender of the Bronco and onto the opposite curb in record time.” Oh well…. This 5 ¾” x 7 ¾” album page features the fronts of six cards that were issued in the N162 Goodwin card set. The chess players are Capt. Mackenzie, Steinitz and Zukertort. The pedestrians are Albert, Fitzgerald and Rowell. There is some inoffensive paper loss in the upper left portion of the page and some minor staining on the blank back. G-vg page with cards that are strong, colorful and vibrant.
