The letter certifies that the “autographed uniform shirt was made available to us by the Major League team, and autographed by the player whose signature appears on the shirt.” Davis’ autograph is an nm-m 8 on the back of the mint jersey. Davis had one of the best seasons of his career in Baltimore in 1998, batting a career-high.327, hitting 28 homes runs and driving in 89. These achievements came after he successfully battled colon cancer and actually retired from baseball because of injuries. His autograph on an Orioles jersey is scarce.
