Lot 125. Unique 11” x 12 ½” Bas-Relief Bronze Image of Ernie Davis. The Ernie Davis story is a sad one. Like Jim Brown, Davis was a star running back at Syracuse. After winning the Heisman Trophy in 1961, he was drafted #1 by the Cleveland Browns. He died from Leukemia shortly thereafter. This unique work of art is mounted on a 15” x 18” wood background.
