Lot 1. Baseball with an Outstanding Babe Ruth Autograph Authenticated by PSA/DNA and Kevin Keating. The autograph on a side panel of a Schultz American League baseball is as bold as can be. It is a solid 10. Ruth personalized the ball “To Ted Haase” and offered him “Best Wishes From Babe Ruth.” The Sultan of Swat added the date, “July 1st, 1930” on the sweet spot. The stampings on the ball, which has been shellacked, remain strong. On an area opposite the autographs, a hole was drilled to support display of the ball. The autographs can easily be displayed without the hole being seen. The ball comes with a Letter of Authenticity from PSA-DNA signed by Jim Spence. Beautiful fountain pen signature. Authenticated also by Kevin Keating.
