Lot 282. Babe Ruth Foundation Plaque, Records. The attractive bronze-colored plaque consists of two sections: a 5” medallion that shows Ruth in a batting follow-through pose and a 2 ¾” x 5” plate that says “The Babe Ruth Foundation Sportsmanship Award - In Honor of Babe Ruth Whose Contribution to American Youth Will Live Forever.” Nm. Accompanying the plaque are two copies of the 33 1/3 rpm 7” record, “The Greatest Moments in Sports.” Picturing Ruth and Lou Gehrig on the sleeves, these records feature the voices the Yankee duo, Joe Louis, Knute Rockne, Jesse Owens and many others. Both record are ex-m, and the sleeves are vg.
