Lot 649. Booklets, “Top 40” Sheets and More on Washington, D.C. Radio, 1940s-80s. Three booklets, 1949, 1952 and 1953, serve as a guide to “Good Music,” classical music in the district. All three are from WQQW or its successor, WGMS. Ex with some writing inside 1949. Ten “Top 40” pages from WWDC list the top hits of eight weeks in 1964. The Beatles and the Supremes dominated the charts, and they are pictured on the back of many pages. Corner torn from one. The others average Vg to vg-ex; some have writing on them. There also are two bumper stickers from B-106, flyer promoting WRC and a key chain for WMAL.
