Lot 520. Rocky Graziano “I Would Fight Anyone” Signature. Graziano placed a large 1 ½” x 4” signature on a 6” x 7 ½” sheet of paper and then added below, “I would fight anyone.” The signatures and notations are black ballpoint 10. A brawler, Graziano took the world middleweight title from Tony Zale in 1947, then lost it the following year. After he retired from boxing, he acted in commercials and movies, ran a pizza house and collected cash on the after-dinner circuit. Paul Newman portrayed Graziano in a book based on his life, “Somebody Up There Likes Me.” Graziano died in 1990. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.
