Lot 1.  Vintage 1930 Check Completed and Signed in Fountain Pen by Ty Cobb. Dated May 6, 1930 and drawn on the Georgia Railroad Bank, the $19 check is payable to “Sylvesters.” In the bottom right of the oversized check is a bold 10 “Tyrus R. Cobb” signature. With cancellation punches away from Cobb’s signature, the check exhibits a small stain on the right side and several creases. The bottom right corner is torn away, affecting only the “tail” that extends with a flair from the second “b.” A bold, desirable vintage example of Cobb’s autograph. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 2.  Jackie Robinson Autographed 1949 Bowman Rookie Card. The card, #50, grades p-f with damage that does not affect Robinson’s image. The autograph in ballpoint rates 8-9 out of 10. Robinson added “Best wishes” above his signature. Rare. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 3.  Joe Cronin Autographs on a 1933 Goudey Card, Cut. Both items are professionally matted and framed to 11” x 14” with a Perez-Steele postcard. Both autographs are 10s. The cut is at least 2 ¼” x 3”. Authenticated by Kevin Keating. Cronin died in 1984.

Lot 4.  Jimmie Foxx Autograph as Part of a Professionally Framed 11” x 14” Display. The signature cut, at least 1 ½” x 4”, is framed with a 1933 Goudey card and a Perez-Steele postcard. The autograph is large and bold, with a minor smudge on the “o.” The tail of a letter from another signature intersects the “J.” Authenticated by Kevin Keating. Foxx died in 1967, and his autographs are comparatively scarce. Impressive display.

Lot 5.  Lefty Grove Autograph as Part of a Professionally Framed 11” x 14” Display. The signature cut, at least 1 ½” x 3 ½”, is framed with a 1934 Goudey card and a Perez-Steele postcard. The autograph is a strong 10. Authenticated by Kevin Keating. Grove died in 1975.

Lot 6.  Carl Hubbell Autographs on a Sport Kings Card, Cut. Both items are professionally matted and framed to 11” x 14”. The signature on the Sport Kings card was written in ballpoint. The second signature could be on an index card; the framing makes it impossible to determine. Both autographs are 10s. Hubbell died in 1988. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 7.  Professionally Framed Display Featuring 3 Signatures of Wm H (Bill) Terry. In this 11” x 14” display, Terry’s signatures are on a Perez-Steele postcard, a 1934 Goudey card and a 1 ½” x 3 ¼” cut. The signatures are 10s. Terry, who died in 1989, was the best defensive first baseman of his era. He batted .401 in 1930 and .341 lifetime. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 9.  Joe DiMaggio “Images of a Legend” Limited Edition Autographed Photo. Mounted on a 12” x 15” wood plaque, the 8” x 10” sepia photo commemorates the Yankee Clipper’s 56-game hitting streak in 1941. It is composed of five different scenes from DiMaggio’s career. Number 1536 of 1941 produced, the photo is nm-m, and the plaque, ex-m+. DiMaggio’s signature in sharpie is a bold 10. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 10.  Mickey Mantle Large Display with a Signed Photo, Plate from His Restaurant. Housed in a 30 ½” x 39 ½” wood frame are a signed 8” x 10” color photo, a 16” x 20” black & white photo and a 9 ¾” ceramic plate that says “Mickey Mantle’s Country Cookin’.” The sharpie signature on the color photo is a bold 10. Extraordinary display! The autograph has been authenticated by both PSA/DNA and Global Authentication.

Lot 11.  Outstanding 16” x 20” B&W Photo Autographed by Mickey Mantle. The photo, matted to 20” x 24”, captures Mantle in a batting stance. His signature is a large, bold 10 in blue sharpie. He added “Rookie 1951.” One of the best Mantle photos we have seen. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 12.  Roger Maris Autograph on an 8” x 10” Color Photo. The photo, which has a couple of small creases, shows Maris in pinstripes. The autograph is a wonderful sharpie 10. Signed photos of Maris are scarce. Authenticated by Kevin Keating.

Lot 13.  8” x 10” Color Photo Signed by Ted Williams, Carl Yastrzemski, Wade Boggs. The photo is mounted on a 9” x 12” wood plaque with a brass plate that says “Sox Sluggers.” Ex-m. The Yaz and Boggs signatures are bold sharpie 10s. The Williams autograph is equally strong with a smudge on the first “i” and also on the dot over the second “i.” Authenticated by Kevin Keating.
