Color set including tennis players Helen Jacobs, Peggy Scriven and Fred Perry, golfer T. H. Cotton, aviator T. O. M. Sopwith, and E. H. Temme, who swam the English Channel in both directions. Ex-m, some better, some less. 2. 1936 Gallaher “Sporting Personalities” set of 48. Nine cards have tiny to small stains on the back; otherwise, ex-m. 3. 1939 Churchman “Kings of Speed” near-set of 49; missing #45. Each card has a piece of tape on the back, which does not obscure the text. The fronts average ex. Includes Howard Hughes. 4. 1956 Cadet Sweets “Record Holders of the World” set of 50. Ex-m.
