Lot 638. Oklahoma U. Football Signed by 2 Heisman Winners - Steve Owens and Billy Sims. The nm brown & white football is an edition limited to 3,000. To his signature, Owens added “#36,” and Sims, “#20, #78 Heisman.” Owens’ signature is a 10, and Sims’, 9. Owens won both the Heisman Trophy and the Walter Camp Trophy in 1969. He played pro football for Detroit. From 1996-98, he was Oklahoma’s athletic director. He was elected to the College Hall of Fame in 1991. Sims won the Heisman in 1978 and finshed second in 1979. He had three 1,000-yard seasons with Detroit before an knee injury ended his career. He was elected to the College HoF in 1995.
