Lot 53. 1932 Lou Gehrig Model 40 LG. This 32” bat has the “Powerized and Bone Rubbed” designation used in 1932. Gehrig’s facsimile signature is on the barrel. Chips missing from the back of the knob and barrel. No repairs. Engravings are deep and strong. Bat displays as vg-ex. 2. Late 1960s Mickey Mantle Model 125 “Flame Tempered.” Mantle’s facsimile signature is on the barrel, and “MM4” is on the knob. Back of the bat has a repair made with nails. Front displays as vg-ex. 3. 1976 Joe DiMaggio Model 125 Bicentennial Bat. This 36” black bat with gold markings has the Bicentennial logo. DiMaggio’s facsimile signature is on the barrel. Some wear, vg+ to ex.
