Lot 52. Joe DiMaggio Wire Photo, Premium and Glove Collection. Two original wire photos, one showing DiMaggio standing with Ted Williams at the 1949 All-Star Game at Ebbets Field and the other picturing him making a running catch in Game 1 of the 1950 World Series. The first photo is 7” x 9”, and the second, 8” x 10”. Both display well, with several inoffensive creases and sharp clarity and contrast. The 8 ½” x 11” Sport magazine premium, dated March 1947, features a head and shoulders image of DiMaggio set against a solid, bright orange background. Nm. The Hutch glove, which is g-vg, has a repaired wrist strap, and the owner’s name is present. The debossed “DiMaggio” stamp has been traced over.
