Ruth is on the cover, and he appears again in a center-spread titled “Babe’ Ruth, Mighty Batsman Who Has Broken Home-Run Record.” Through July 19, Ruth had slugged 31 home runs. He would hit 23 more before ending the season with a record 54 homers. This complete issue of the Mid-Week Pictorial with Ruth on the cover is uncommon. Nice vg issue. 2.
