Lot 49. Babe Ruth Display with a 1934 Chicago World’s Fair Mini Bat, 1926-27 Card. Very rare 16” mini bat produced by Hillerich & Bradsby says “World’s Fair Chicago 1934” to the right of the company logo, and on the end of the barrel, there is a “George Babe Ruth” facsimile signature. Some wear, ex. The card, #6, is from the W512 set. Tightly trimmed and vg. The bat and card are housed in a 16” x 22” x 2 ¼” wood display case that is lined in green felt. An outline of a baseball diamond is in the upper right corner of the felt. The bat and card are described on engraved brass plates. Seldom-seen bat in a unique Babe Ruth collectible display.
