Lot 215. More Than 350 Boston Red Sox Cards from 20 Sets, with Some Uncataloged. This collection comprises team issues and cards from a variety of sources. Team Issues: 1970 partial set of 8, ex to ex-m. These color blank-backed cards are 3 ½” x 5 ½” and include Lyle and Reggie Smith. 1971 b&w set of 12, nm. Uncataloged 1971-72 partial set of 8, color, blank backs, 3 ½” x 6”, vg to vg-ex. Uncataloged 1974 partial set of 14, color, blank-backed, 2 ½” x 3 3/8”, ex+ to ex-m. Uncataloged 1978 b&w set (?) of 17 with Fisk, Eckersley, Rice, Yastrzemski, Tiant. These 3 ½” x 6” cards all have the player’s name in pencil on the back; otherwise, ex-m to ex-m+. 1979 set of 27. Includes all four two-player cards; three are uncataloged. Ex-m+. The following sets from various companies are much less confusing than the team issues.
